O JANTAR DE GALA
Jantar de Gala
Restaurante Francês Chez Georges
Traje: Rigor

The I ABCRC Congress - Part 5
THE GALA DINNER
Gala Dinner
Chez Georges French Restaurant
Dress Code: Formal Attire
On the evening of the third day, we had a gala dinner at the French restaurant Chez Georges located in the hotel. It was a memorable evening, and many other tributes were paid.
French gastronomy served with a selection of wines specially chosen for dinner, included French white wine from the Chablis grape and Portuguese red wine from the Trincadeira and Aragonez grapes, which gave a palatal touch to the dinner, when congress participants and guests got together.
The restaurant's hall had a themed decoration, including the table arrangements resembled "hairstyles" or "wigs" placed on top of each single, elongated piece of glass. All of this had an impact on the minds of many who were present.

The tributes continued throughout the evening; and at that gala party the founding members received the honors from the foreign guests:

The Gala Dinner brought together an atmosphere of immense joy for the two days of the ABCRC congress and meant the accomplishment of dreams, a valuable contribution to the science of hair restoration. That dinner marked the union of peers and all of that deserved a toast for the objective achieved. The following photos show the exact moment of the invitation for a toast made by president Dr. Gandelman (SP) to the founding members and all the guests, representing the success of the association:

It was an evening full of emotions, with a feeling of duty fulfilled by the founding partners and satisfaction on the faces of all participants and guests who were happy with the gathering and high scientific level of the event.
In my speech I could not hide my emotion when coordinating the 1st congress in Recife. I keep the speech to this day, and here I show part of my narrative: "I thank everyone, especially Élida, my admirable wife and my dear children Amanda, Caio and Gabriel for understanding and supporting me in the months leading up to our congress. Thank God for this wonderful family and for the patience they had. Many hours were dedicated to coordinating the event. Congress matters were taken home to be resolved, and often after a full day of surgery, I continued working well into the night. Weekends were no different, and unexpected meetings often arose, even over the phone, and there we spent hours preparing tables, classifying conferences, inviting colleagues, hiring collaborators, everything so that the congress ran in the best way possible. I would like to take this opportunity to thank God, for being here and for having made this dream come true. Amen."
One of the most important things about ABCRC was fostering friendship between peers. The association members themselves realized this. Respect and ethics have become fundamental values among members and must always be cultivated by the association.
Each one has a link to the story they must tell. And this is the objective of this article: to tell the story of before, during and after the first ABCRC congress.
Always be grateful! And apologize for the flaws inherent in holding any event. The seed was planted, and here we have the association, growing stronger, continuing firmly with the purpose of enriching knowledge, exchanging experiences and teaching hair restoration.
Day 4 of the congress was marked with live surgeries at Hospital Memorial São José, scheduled to be broadcast directly to the auditorium.
